Introduction
My name is Fanni Mikó, I was born ”in the heart of Europe”, in Hungary. As a child I was interested in many things: I learnt to play the piano, played chess and I used to be a competitive handball player. In my early years I also found great joy in drawing, and winning prizes for some of my works. By my twenties, I had become the young woman with a brush in her hand and a crown on her head.
How did this happen?
For as long as I remember I longed to experience the outside world. I didn't want to settle into an ordinary life. I wanted to live, feel, see and experience. At 16, I was scouted by a modelling agency, and a few months later I found myself in China, away from everything and everyone, but life rewarded me with success for daring to leave my comfort zone. Soon after I travelled to Turkey and several major European cities, where I took part in a succession of photo shoots and fashion shows.
In 2019, I was elected beauty queen in Hungary and qualified for one of the biggest international beauty pageants in the world to represent my country.
I won this beauty contest in December 2019.
I competed against 87 countries from all over the world. It had an amazing, intense energy!
With this title I became the winner of Miss Intercontinental and the only Hungarian girl ever to win a world beauty contest.

It was surreal and unimaginable. I long to share its crazy and extraordinary moments. My strength, my feelings, my luck, my destiny. I'd love to take it all and throw it all to the wind like a handful of glitter dust! I would like to sprinkle it on everyone who welcomes it. Maybe I can do it through art. I've always been interested in the relationship between colours, materials and shapes and the expressions they allow.
I am inspired to paint by the combination of reality and fantasy and thus to show the invisible, expressing the inexpressible. I believe that a painting can be of artistic value if it conveys the message of its creator, which must be created in an individual - instinctive- way . My paintings are created from my unique, spontaneous ideas and I try to incorporate the special, unusual energies that have permeated my entire life.
